Been lurking here on and off for a while now so thanks to all contributors for your help :)
I'm in the process of removing the knackered auto box (only has 1st and 2nd) on my daughter's Polo for a low mileage one if managed to scource.
I'm looking for any help or tips in doing the swap ...

I don't know if you sorted this but I had a similar problem and eventually traced it to the pre cat O2 sensor
