Thanks but not this one - the one I read may not have been in this forum, I can't remember - but it said you needed your dealer to connect a computer and adjust the settings that way.

I remember reading somewhere (that I cannot now find) that with the factory system the EQ settings were adjusted to make the factory speakers sound better, and that if you changed the speakers you could get your dealer to flatten the EQs. I have an NZ 2018 Polo GTI and had had the speakers upgraded ...

Thanks for the link I'd spotted that earlier - I've been trying all ways of playing audio before making a decision about replacing the speakers, and a bit disappointed the sytem doesn't play .m4a (as the manual states) as just about all my music is in this format.

Hi from another NZ owner (red) and thanks to this forum I realise I have the 2019 version too.

I am posting about the audio system as I can't find the info I need on this anywhere - I realise NZ specs may differ from the UK. I don't have the Beats option, it is not available in NZ on the GTI at ...
