Thank you guys. Will check those tomorrow and report back. Will try recording as well.
Cheers

Annoying Rattle/Knocking
Hi all. Got a really annoying rattle under the floor or behind dash. It's really hard to tell where it's coming from but sure it's from one of those areas. It's really noticeable when driving say 20-30 mph on a quiet road. It doesn't even need to be on a bad surface or bumps to hear the rattling. Bu...

Re: Key Batt Message
Was it CR2032 that you used? Nothing listed in my manual. Just says take to a dealership haha. I tried CR2016 duracell as that was what was in I think and they didn't work. Tried a CR2032 duracell and it seems to be too thick and bounces out. I tried a no brand CR2016 and that is working fine. 2016 ...

Re: Weird brake feeling
Could it be a sticking caliper? Garage say it will need to go on a rolling road to diagnose it

Re: Weird brake feeling
Hi amer6R Wouldn't they affect the car when driving all the time though? It's only under breaking that I feel it. Especially at low speeds when you are nearly at a stop its most noticeable. The only feeling or vibration or pulsing is through the pedal. From what I am reading I am guessing it's the d...

Weird brake feeling
Hello, just looking for some info on a strange brake feeling. When braking I can feel in the pedal a sensation like the car is braking uneven. From what I have read it could be a warped disc? The backstory is in mid Nov the car was serviced/Mot at an Indy VW near me. New front discs and pads were fi...

Re: Slight Shiver on Tickover
Sorted. New set of spark plugs has solved the problem. No more shivering.
Thanks for advice and recommendations.

Re: Slight Shiver on Tickover
Can see both points of view CarbonChaos and both have valid points. However I trust the garage and have used them for many years. They always just do what needs doing and will tell me when they need to change the brake fluid and cambelt etc. The front brakes were done this time for 1st time at 55k I...

Re: Slight Shiver on Tickover
Gonna take it back to the garage when it reopens. Very strange that straight after the service it has started doing it. Looks like a set of plugs costs around £70. Car is 7.5 years old and done 55k on original plugs. Like RUM4MO says daft not to change them. I guess they take them out and if they lo...

Re: Slight Shiver on Tickover
Thanks RUM4MO.
It is a independent VAG garage so surprised by this.
Think I will get someone to put some new Sparks in and see how it goes from there.
Cheers

Slight Shiver on Tickover
Hi there, I have a 2016 1.2 TSI 55k. It's just been serviced and I have noticed that on tickover the car seems to shiver every 5 secs or so. There is no lights on dash and the car drives fine. It's not done this before but on a previous car the garage had put in new Sparks and the gap on one was inc...

Fuel Tank Capacity
Quick question. What is the most amount of fuel I could fit in my tank? Now I know it is listed as 45L so this should be the maximum right? Reason I am asking is that I filled up at Asda fuel station today and it took over 49L?? This is just till it clicked off. I never brim it. The fuel light had i...

Re: Rattling Vibration Noise
Just randomly started.
Fortunately I found an earlier post from Bepis who suggested loose caps on top of the shock absorbers. Worked a treat and rattle solved.
