either that or use something like meguiar's ScratchX, followed by some wax. should help to get the scratches out nicely, but requires some patience!

a new set of injectors will probably cost you a lot. i would guess they're made by Bosch, as it's their engine management system on the mk4. i'm sure you'll be able to get them through VW aftermarket, not sure about other companies though.

Agree with Dino.

You can also tray Meguiars clay. it will take out all the ingrained rubbish and give you a really smooth finish. then polish and wax. Autoglym and Meguiars will both give good results. Never tried turtlewax.

After a couple of tries i put my foot down once it had started. the engine spluttered for a few seconds before i held it at 2,000rpm for a few ...

no, bristol is a bit milder than the arctic  haven't noticed any leaks or stains on the driveway, so i don't think there are any leaks. will have a look anyway though. a colleague reckoned it might be the cold start valve/sensor. his reasoning was that the ECU takes the temperature of the block...

Autoglym do an upholstery shampoo/cleaner. Can't remember the name of it, but it works well.

spray onto the seat, use a brush or sponge to agitate it if necessary. wipe with a damp cloth, job done.

my car came with dog stains, sweat marks and other unknowns ( :? and they came out o.k.

i had the same problem. Put some double sided tape from a car shop on in May, and it's looking a little loose in places. If you want a more permanent fix, then silicone sealant may be better, provided you are careful with it!!!

thanks guys. will try to get some pics up soon. basically it's a blank canvass, although i'm not planning on doing much. exterior is in pretty good nick, so i might just change the lights for clear front/repeaters and mk5 rears. the interior is what i'm concentrating on for the while. the seats are ...

hello to one and all!

I've had my mk4 (in dragon green, in case you didn't guess) since april now. It's a lowly 1.3 CL, but hey, it's better than the fiesta i had last!

look forward to talking about mkIVs with you guys!
