Just wondering if anyone has fitted a optima battery in their engine bay and if they have what one was it?

Im currently deciding if i should get a gti or not, one of the things i want to do is put a avic-x1r headunit and needs a clamp on the speed pulse wire which can be in the loom somewhere.

love the install, ive been thinking about getting some dls stuff in my car (currently 05 corsa sri - soon to be gti) just wondering can you fit a optima battery in replacement for the standard one. also what size speakers have the gtis got?
