I am just curious what's the difference between H&R  28711-1 and H&R  28711-2.

From what I have read I assume -2 is for GTI's but I am unsure.

Hi,

This could also more then likely be the powersteering pump.
Due to being at full lock the pump can Labour hard as you are steering into the steering stops.
This can cause the pump to labour and somewhat whine.

Just a possibility!
