Unfortunately it cannot get back it’s naturally shape so I have to replace it… the insurance will pay for everything, at least is a good newsSRGTD wrote: Wed May 05, 2021 5:14 pm It’s so annoying when something like that happens. Looks like a fairly straightforward repair, so hopefully it’ll soon be back to looking good.

Re: Pierlu's Polo 1.2 TSI Comfortline
At this point my main question is... can I match at home a 1.8 TSI ecu with my 1.2 TSI keys? Because I prefer to keep my keys and the bcm with my instrument cluster and adapt only the ecu
Otherwise I need to find a set of keys+ecu+bcm+cluster and it hard to find

Can I ask you what's the ride height? (from the center of the rim to the fender) Because I'm collecting everything to put the original configuration back but I'm taking measurements to see how much will be taller than my current configuration

The only one compatible kit is the original. I've disassembled mine and other kits wouldn't fit, once got the vw one all went perfect.
If the rubber dust cover is ok you can avoid to change it -because could be a bit tricky put in the new one- and change only the rubber ring inside the caliper
