Polo Parts!

After a major head on 60mph plus colision the other day, I have a few Polo parts to sell on request!!!
I wrote off the car you see.
I've got a couple of photos if anyone wants to see what a smashed up polo looks like but I never trusted the brakes and they let me down as I thought they would! I was ...

Cool mate cheers.

I've had another look at it today and thankfully the tapping has gone. I have no doubt that the oil will still be coming out of it but as long as it gets me to work and back thats fine, Ill bring a bottle of oil with me.
Im looking to replace it with an Audi 80 2ltr 16v anyway ...

I took it to the garage and one bloke said thats what it COULD be.

Any chance of a better explanation of the breather system or how it could have happened. Or how to fix it?!!

Cheers

The other day I was driving along happily and all of a sudden the, buzzer and oil light came on! I discovered the sensor itself had been leaking at the top and caused the connector to come off with the pressure. Fixed it up n sorted it out and managed to ...

Right, I've taken it out today again to try and put it in perspective for myself, despite a go at the engine in the rain..spark plugs burning fine..dont smell of un-burnt fuel..doesnt appear/smell to be a fuel leak anywhere, it would be obvious surely.
The exhaust is in perfect condition and is ...

Hi..its 1L.. 1990 with weber carb..60K miles..

I will give the spark plugs a check tmoz and see whether they're smelly or wet..the automatic choke appears to work..maybe..because theres the lack of power when starting and then you wait until the engines hot and its responsive as ever.

I'd say the ...

Leaky Exhaust/Bad Fuel Economy

Recently, the Polo has been experiencing TERRIBLE fuel economy, Im talking..70 miles to £10 at 50p/ltr so duno what that is but its bad.
Ive tried driving less harsh with it and still, bad.

My only thought is: leak in exhaust between back box and..other.long..bit..of pipey thing?

If not? Clean ...

Polo on a Budget!!

Hi! Just introducing myself here and starting a new topic!

I'm me! I own a MK2 Polo C 1043cc 54k miles. In perfect condition..!

I'm on a very tight budget as to what I can do to make it look a little bit less silly because lets be honest, they all do look rather comedy!

I dont mind about engine ...
