Think I may have posted with the same problem ages ago. Mine still does it (2003 , 39000 miles). Had it checked over and found nothing wrong. I Agree with david burton its just one of those things. Unless its getting worse i'd leave it.

Agreed It's a good excuse to lower it.. :lol: . I've had a closer look at the broken piece and to me it looks like theres a bit of fatigue in the steel hence the rust. I would take it to vw but my dealers about 18 miles away against 3/4mile for my local garage, and i dont want to damage the car too ...

Mine does the same thing sometimes, but I find that if I turn the blower off, wait and then turn the blower back on again it seems to sort itself out..

I can see the flooding in gloucester from where I live but it hasn't affected me as our area is about 600 ft up. Although there are indications that we may loose our water supply even though I live a fair distance from gloucester. time will tell..

Ever sine I've had my polo, its always needed the steering corrected to the right while driving. Anyway I've had four wheel alignment done today at a VW dealer on a beissbarth alignment rig and only the toe was found to be out (just) and was corrected back to factory values., now it seems better but ...
