well fired her up last nite.
was a bit like a horror movie as there were wires and pipes everywhere just to see if she would run before dark.
did notice a couple of problems though, slowley being cured and some not !
firstly :-
cluctch was slipping a bit, put you foot down in gear... a lot ...

well the only thing is we dont no where to wiring to the fuel tank and pump come from n the engine bay?
we have tried to trace wires which we "think" are fuel pump wires but had no luck.

right then, my car went into a vw garage on friday to have its 3F GT lump put in.
My mate and i were helping and doing most of it under his instructions ( that way i get it done for free)
engine went in fine and all seemed well until it cam to wiring.
he has given me a list of things to ask ...

almost mate
from where i live in cornwall to my mates uni in norwich is exactly 400 miles bang on........
i filled up my tank...40.86 ltrs, its a 9 gallon one it may have been slightly more than that coz i did really fill it to the brim anyway, so 400/9 = 44.4 mpg
its a G reg coupe s it had ...

rattles and knocks!!!
its sounds simple but i heard a rattle when ticking over and it gradually got louder as time progressed!!
and annoyed me a lot.....so i set to work hunting the cause and it was sumin so small!!
the collor that connects the downpipe to the manifold was loose...and as i racked the miles ignoring ...
