Just checking,
It is then transfer the data from the cluster and then encode it to the polo?

Re: Instrument panel swap
Does it matter that the cluster does not go up to 280 km / h?
The cluster I have goes up to 240.
But the revs go up to 8000.
6R0920870C is the number: P

Re: Instrument panel swap
I recently responded to an insturment panel, which was a 2 hour drive.
In itself no problem, but it is annoying that you get a message after more than 1 hour driving that the insturment panel is no longer available ...
So that was annoying ...
Now I have responded another.
Only that is a Type C ...

Re: Instrument panel swap
A GTI MFD + instrument panel must be adapted to your car using special tools.
My recommendation due to proximity:
Contact madwarlock (Slavik), he is a user of this forum, he can do it for a reasonable price, and the process is totally safe.

Instrument panel swap
Good day,
I accidentally came across a topic for changing the instrument panel.
now that seems cool to me.
However, I have a few questions about this.
If I take the GTI cluster.
then I have to update it so that it contains my current polo information (mileage, immobilizer, etc).

Re: MFSW steer swap
I love how it looks and I will follow your steps with the rear camera.
I am still very happy with the wheel!
THE reversing camera will probably become one of Aliexpress.
This is due to the DPS I have. Otherwise I cannot create 5.1 sound with an OEM radio.
So I take an Alpine radio for the ...

Reversing camera on aftermarket radio
Goodday everyone,
Since the project steering wheel has been completed, I want to delve into a reversing camera that is in the emblem.
BUT! since I have an RCD310 radio I cannot use it on that.
Now I want to replace the radio it contains with an Alpine radio (ilx W650bt).
So I'm curious if anyone ...

Re: MFSW steer swap
It took a while, but the steering wheel is in it! and works perfectly!
Super thanks !
Now the next project is a rear view camera in the VW emblem.
I had already made a post on facebook, and I was nicely helped there. but it got quite difficult and I couldn't get it anymore because of it.

Re: MFSW steer swap
Sorry for the double post.
But! picked up a steering wheel today.
One of a 2011 VW Passat (r-line).
just need to get the cable to the airbag.
hope that the airbag of the polo fits.
can anyone tell me if there is a tutorial to activate the DSG flippers?

It's all the same, Polo 6R wheel, Golf 6 wheel. Doesn't really matter, it should work. And get yourself a recent VCDS please, 12.12 is 8 years old.
it is probably better to buy a new VCDS.
However, it will probably become one of aliexpress.
The wheel of the golf 6 gti is unfortunately sold ...

Now I have one in view of a Golf 6 GTI.
However, I am not sure if it will work without upgrading the BCM.
