I got some quotes for a few cars, including the A1 S-Line Comp, but even with the 'cooking' 150PS engine it was a good £3K more than the Polo (after discounts). Plus every review I've read/watched called out the firm ride in this trim. I personally don't like the looks as much as the Polo either ...

Thanks - yeah I know this is a big change but TBH what I need a car for has changed dramatically as well.
