Hi cheers for the advice, I did buy a proper vw adaptor from Halfords cost me £70, I changed the fuse position and had it so the stereo didn’t turn off when the lights came on. followed a guide that told me to connect the red cable to a fuse spur on ignition switched fuse, all works well but when I turn the lights on or indicators the stereo turns off!! Also a epc light is showing on the dash when key is first stuck in the ignition!! Can you help at all? What have I done w...

Installed new Kenwood stereo with apply play, disconnected red cable and
wired it to fuse spur and doubled up a fuse.
Other than that I connect the tiny black cable from new dab windscreen
aerial to the blue and white cable along with the blue white cable from the
aerial adapter.
Can anyone help
