Carbs for 1.3 Polo
I have had my 1300 polo one the emissions tester earlier today and found the HC to be way too high (1000 - 2000) and CO2 also way over, in fact everything way way over and I had little luck getting it down by adjusting the mixture screw. Also the Idle speed screw seems to do very little in the way ...

Misc Coupe S parts
After a long couple of years I have managed to get my Mk2 Coupe S back on the road.
However I seem to have lost some bits due to it being stored in three different places in that time.
So what I'm after is two of the little screw in rubber stoppers. (The ones that go on the boot lid and bonnet to ...

Re: 1988 MK2 Polo door speakers
If I'm honest I'm not entirely happy with the job but I just cut holes into the door cards and screwed them onto that. Providing your speakers aren't huge you can position them just about so they don't foul on the windows when you wind them down.
I will try to get pics for you.

Ticking?
If i Know my polos, a constant ticking will usually be your tappets not adjusting properly, on an L reg they should be hydraulic (self adjusting) but if there isn't enough oil, or the oil is s**t, or even too thick I have found they will not adjust right so they tick.
If oil doesn't help, tappets ...

Shocks without lowering
I have been doing a lot of shock shopping over the past week as my pretty little mk2 coupe has been bouncing around like zebidee.
My problem is I was looking to uprate my shocks without adjusting the ride height. I was wondering what everyone else uses. I have been in contact with g-max and found ...

I just put my manifold on at the weekend, it proved fairly trouble free, I did have to drop the anti roll bar a bit and take the rad fan off to slide in the manifold but apart from that it all went well.
I've got to get a bit of flexi as yet to finish putting it together, the only option i've found ...
