Painted the my brake callipers and the ends of the axels, they always rust and it looks really bad.

Put a few packs of the Silica gels that you get in the back. The ones you get with new shoes, trainers etc.

Sure have, decontaminated using Gyeon Q2M Iron, washed with Gyeon Q2M Bathe Plus, coated with Gyeon Q2M Wet Coat. Used PoorBoys wheel sealant on the wheels, just something I had lying around and only done the fronts, planning on taking them off and fully sealing them next weekend maybe.

Picked up the genuine VW mud guards on Friday and got round to fitting them over the weekend.

Subtle difference but I like them, photos don’t really do them any justice, nice little touch in my opinion.

As a side note, how easy are these wheels to clean? Easiest set I’ve ever experienced!

Got these fitted now. The diamond visions are perfect! Pretty much the exact colour of the DRL’s.

You could never tell they are halogen, they are white / blue enough to look cool but not white / blue enough to look illegal. Really chuffed. Would recommend.

My mum has a 2017 1.2 Tsi polo with the DSG and it’s absolutely fine, pretty punchy for a 1.2 actually and the new 1.0 is marginally more powerful (use that term loosely as it’s only 95 hp) so hopefully it’ll be ok.
