Re: Insurance and alloys.

Also, it might be handy to have winter tyres on these old 15" rims for winter use, and again advise your insurance company that you will be swopping wheels over every year. I thought about that but I'm selling my 15s as I use a work van monday to Friday. Thanks everyone else, I'll phone the qu...

Insurance and alloys.

My insurance is due and I've changed to Portago 16" alloys from 15" (cant remember style name) do I put these as a mod on insurance or not? I'm thinking not as the new alloys are still VW alloys for the polo just not the ones that came with it when j bought it. Any help would be appreciated

Re: Headlights

I'm not trying to say that from my past experience that fitting these bulbs correctly is easy by the way! If you have had both bulbs out and no...

Re: Healights

I'm pretty happy with: Philips WhiteVision Xenon effect -- I see you've detailed about them in your thread, however. A friend of mine is running 'NIGHTEYE LED Headlights' - which just screw in to the same fitting. They're bright- seriously bright- but the spread of light is awful. Are you running t...

Re: Alloy Upgrade

If your car came with a 15" full sized steel spare wheel, and your car now has 16" alloys on it, then that 15" original spare wheel is still okay for that car. Put it this way, my wife has a 2015 VW Polo 1.2TSI SEL bought new, that car came with 16" alloys as standard and a 15&q...
