Re: High Idle/ Rough engine
Hey very late reply to this but I think my car is going through a forced regen at the moment, same as this guy idling at about 1400 and the gear indicator is telling me to downshift when it said it wouldn't usually (e.g. 3>2 at 40km/h). I'm wondering if it is a regen because although it's idling hi...

Re: High Idle/ Rough engine
Thanks for the info but my car is not a GTI. It's been going on for a month now. The symptoms you listed, I only have the high idling speed and fuel consumption. The stop/start system is still active. I drive short journeys around town, but have driven it on the motorway revving to 3k for about 30m...

Part name/number for steering wheel trim
Hey guys, I put in a new steering wheel cover on my Polo and I scratched the soft touch plastic to bits putting it on. I was wondering if anyone knew the part number for this part or a name so I could grab one to replace it because I couldn't find any on my local parts site. It's the bit between the...

Re: Polo fuse box diagram for rear window demister
I found this site useful for fuse position and coverage.. https://fuse-box.info/volkswagen/volkswagen-polo-mk6-2018-2022-fuses-and-relays hope it helps Thanks a lot but I actually didn't need it, I checked the back window and the left cable connecting the demister was pulled out, I don't even know ...

Polo fuse box diagram for rear window demister
I was wondering if anyone had a fuse box diagram for a 2019 Polo AW? My rear window demister is gone and I wanted to check the fuse to see if its blown.
It's not the switch cause I press that and the orange light goes on so I've no idea what it could be.
Cheers

Aftermarket Armrest Retrofit
I was looking to retrofit the armrest into my pre-facelift AW Polo. Was looking online and saw this listing which I'm guessing is the OEM Part: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333225868887 which is a bit out of budget. Good ol' AliExpress gives me options like this which is much cheaper https://www.aliex...

Re: DRL broke, what can I do to fix it?
Agree, I think the DRL’s are integral to the DRL/fog light/cornering light unit so you’re looking at replacing the complete unit, unless it’s s a loose wiring connection that’s causing the DRL to not work. There are a few used front right DRL / fog light units for the AW model Polo for sale on eBay...

DRL broke, what can I do to fix it?

Replica VW OEM Wheels
Was looking to replace the 15in wheels my Polo has with a set of 17in VW wheels, since the OEM parts are so expensive I saw a local shop were doing replica wheels with tyres for a good price. Does anyone in here have experience with the replica wheels and otherwise is there anything I need to do for...

Low MPG figures - Lead Foot?
Hey guys, I've owned my 2019 Polo 95 TSI for almost 2 years now and I'm really not that impressed with the MPG figures I've been getting, going down the motorway I'll get a good 51-55 MPG but when driving to work I'll get 32-38 depending on if the start-stop is working (which never really does but t...

Re: High Idle/ Rough engine
Hey guys My Polo 95 TSI has been idling around 950-1000 when warmed up since October ish? I don't remember exactly what it idled at before and I was just wondering if this is normal.? Outside temp is about 8 degrees I say this because when at a traffic light or so I can really feel vibrations throu...

Re: High Idle/ Rough engine
Reading your post, you don't mention if it's a new Polo or a second hand, if second hand, (say 2018) has it got any records of having services done yearly, or any maintenance records at all? Have you had it serviced? Does it need a regen, has it been chugged around town and needs a good run down th...

RCD 520 for Polo
Hey guys, I've been trying to swap out my MIB for something bigger with Android auto since I bought my car, I was browsing AliExpress and found this RCD 520 for sale. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mr1sklz it doesn't have a polo listed in the options but I think I've seen our AWs optioned out with this 9...
