No the guides weren't replaced. How can i tell if they are the issue

1.2 BMD Oil Disappearing after exhaust valve replacement
Just done the exhaust valves on my BMD engine. Replaced the timing chain, exhaust valves all of the valve seals as well. However, oil seems to be disappearing now. there are no visible oil leaks and there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust. The oil needs to be topped up every 2 weeks or so ...
