Thanks for the info, before you changed the mirror where your mirrors already powered with a switch? or were your mirros manual?
My mirrors have always been powerfold which did make it easier

Hi! Good question and thanks for the kind words They are MK3 Leon 5F mirrors, but it's essentially the next generation seat mirror, they were fitted to lots of cars (Leon, KJ Ibiza, ateca, Arona) They are powerfold and heated and electric adjustable And the indicators work I had to modify the loom o...

MIH11MI6 > Seat Ibiza 6J AWD 2.0TSI EA113 Converted > OEM+

On iichels request, I have decided to document my build in a more detailed manner. So... an overview I have a 2010 Seat Ibiza 6J, which was originally a 2.0TDI CFHD, front wheel drive, overall great car. I decided to all wheel drive convert the car in August 2020, taking me 9 months to complete. I w...

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG --> OEM++ R-Line conversion

You can set the steering feedback 'programme' via VCDS. On the fly adjustment is not as easy. I'll just have to set it as "GTI sport", doesnt sound like the dynamic adjustment is an easy task. and I dont want to install the DCC to then put resistors in place just to get the dynamic steeri...

iichel wrote: Mon May 15, 2023 2:41 pm Yes, the steering feedback is also changed. You can't have the DCC module without the dampers, the system won't work.
Thanks iichel,

I thought as much, sounding as though there isn't a way to stiffen the steering feedback without the DCC module then?

DONE AND DUSTED! The PQ35 DCC has been installed and wit works flawlessly. It can be activated by OEM button or via the CCE by mr Slavik. The key was to code byte 2 bit 3 in the CAN gateway to enable "Charisma" function. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HllCeIy1TsM Hi iichel, On the sport ...

Re: Bosch ESP 9.0i (AS) long coding troubles for WRC ecu

I do think so, yes. VIN check is done with immo = cluster, not with engine control unit. But I'm doubtful it will take coding when the VIN in ECU is different from the cluster. Agreed So I need the different ABS pump (cheap anyway) and need to get the vin matched from cluster to ECU, I reckon I can...

Are you sure AS is a suitable ESP module for a CDL engine? based on the WRC autoscan you provided me, the WRC runs a BG software with AS hardware. Guessing I'm going to need BG software? Bosch ESP 9.0i (AS) long coding troubles for WRC ecu

Hi All I am currently in the process of swapping a 2.0tsi CDLJ into my awd ibiza 6J I have managed to get hold of a very nicely specced 7L6 2013 Ibiza Cupra loom, with Bosch ESP 9.0i already fitted. I have managed to get the Polo WRC CDLJ ecu reading on the loom and can see it all good in VCDS. I wa...

amazing thankyou so much! And it looks like good news, the BG ABS pumps are Ibiza compatible, and lots of Second hand units on ebay for cheap, so will definitely be able to make that work I have sourced a full body harness from a 2013 Ibiza Cupra, which will already have the petrol differences and A...

Re: 2.0TSI CDLJ Swap into AWD Ibiza 6J - ABS Help

Thanks iichel! Yeah I can't see how they would have gone to the extent of a whole abs module just for the WRC with no cross compatibility, especially considering it was a FWD architecture aswell Hopefully with some luck and a few wiring changes I should be able to get it working OEM I'll be using a ...

Re: 2.0TSI CDLJ Swap into AWD Ibiza 6J - ABS Help

Oh right okay ill have a look into it S1 Quattro is on PQ26 (6C) architecture, and are EA888.3 not EA113 engines Closest match is the audi A1 quattro, but they're even harder to find parts for than a WRC. I know they run 8X PN ECU and ABS pumps, but I've only ever seen one and was eye Wateringly exp...

2.0TSI CDLJ Swap into AWD Ibiza 6J - ABS Help

Hi All, If you don't remember be I am the guy who a year or so ago was implementing a full AWD swap into a 2010 6J Seat Ibiza, I am pleased to confirm it was a success, and a massive thanks to iichel and ciclo for helping me with some of the wiring and coding niggles that occurred. With the AWD bein...
