Re: 6C Badge Removal
very nice post! i've been searching for ages to find someone who actually replaced the logo's on the 6c. Can you send me a link to where you purchase the black badges? Here’s where I bought the badges from https://euroshop.co.nz/products/vw-gloss-black-120mm-front-grill-badge-110mm-rear-trunk-lid-p...

Re: AUTOMATIC BOOT OPENING
Did anyone get anywhere with this? I'm looking to get one of the auto-opening boot kits but could do with some recommendations.

Whiter fog lights - GTI 6C
The OEM fog lights on the GTI 6C are quite cream don't match the headlights particularly well..
Has anyone replaced these with whiter-looking ones? Could you advise what sort I need or some fitting instructions?
thanks

Re: 6C Badge Removal
I've just had a go at the front badge. The front portion popped off really easily with a flat head screwdriver. But there's a problem. The slots in the backing plate and the tabs in the badge itself are different on the new badge I've bought - so I'm going to have to take the front grill off to get ...

DSG shifter knob inserts ??
Hi, does anyone know where I can get replacement ‘leather’ inserts for the DSG shifter? Mine have a few marks on so I’d like to replace them. Can’t seem to find them anywhere online. I don’t want carbon fibre or anything. Just the small leather inserts - see pic. Anyone got a part number or link? Th...

Re: Lowering Springs GTI 6C
Looking good, perfect daily driving stance! I've just got my Eibach springs delivered this week, can't wait to get them on. What changes have you felt when driving on them, is the ride a bit stiffer? Not a big difference in ride quality with normal driving. I'm on country lanes to and from work eac...

Re: Lowering Springs GTI 6C
i have the eibach springs fitted to my 6c gti and i'd highly recommend them as a subtle drop with adverse affect on the ride. £200 is overpriced for them https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/eibach-pro-kit-lowering-spring-kit-eibe10-85-024-02-22/ is a much more reasonable price. the headlights auto adju...

Re: What sort of fuel consumption can I expect from my Polo GTI?
I have a 16 plate GTI w/ DSG and commute c. 40 mins to work and back each day, mainly 30 and 50 zones. Avg. MPG is in the high 30's when driven sensibly. Expect mid 20's or so when you're having some fun.
