Running it to the main FB is fine, but youll be running 2 wires from the ebox past the BCM to the main FB, then running wires back the way you came to wire into the FB, where the other way you run it to the back of the BCM and then directly into it.

I need to do one last scan before I can close this off, which I will do later on, going to tidy some wires now. But all functionality appears to be there.

With the coding you gave me did that enable CH/LH lights?

There is a connection from T10/7 > T10/4 (red connector) > T73b/43 multi meter confirms

There also is a connection from T73a/6 wire ---> joint to (this is a JPT 2 way terminal block) <--- old wire T17/9 grey/green - checked both sides of the connector for a signal ...

Ok this morning I will test just that wire on its own and confirm it’s wired in locations.

DRLs work as expected at the moment, in both 0 and Auto position. As far as I can tell the only thing not working is rear fog. Cornering lights work, high beam etc.

Ciclo - tonight’s update

I have completed all wiring and plugged in my new headlight switch.

Good news is sidelights, dipped beam, front fogs all work as expected

Bad news is DRLs dont work still and the rear fog light doesn’t work and throws a dash bulb error.

Ciclo, quick update from me. Installed all the fuse box to BCM wires and guess what? The IC bulb light has gone, who would of thought it! :lol:

Only thing I noticed that didn’t work was my DRL’s, I did the following adaptation for the DRLs:


Remove & isolate original wires 12a (SC12 5A fuse) and ...

ciclo, I do have one question before I begin my wiring adaption.

I read on one of these posts about fog lights, but the context was if they were being retro fitted, I have factory fog lights, is there any other wiring needed for fog lights/cornering lights?

Looms are made now, some ends are deliberately left in-terminated to cut them to a better length in the bus.

I certainly do not want to do that, that would be a waste of both of our time.

Let me explain.....from reading the thread I understood that to complete the BCM max upgrade I needed to install the 2 CAN wires plus the 2x30amp ones.

That coding has stopped the dash light coming on when side lights are on, now it comes on when headlights are on, here is the latest scan.

Says about low beam now, dipped/low beam are standard bulbs. And all are working as they should

So with ignition on there are no bulb warning lights.

When I turn the headlights to sidelights I get an immediate bulb warning error.

Now these bulbs are LED can bus bulbs. But I am wondering if they are not happy with the new BCM? My dipped beams are normal halogen.
