Re: Buying a Match 95 auto questions
That's really odd. I agree the DSG can be jerky at low speeds but never had that sort of extreme you're describing. Slowly releasing my foot off the brake in traffic my car has never lurched forward. I'll have to get it seen to. There's a definite and noticable time delay when you release the brake...

Re: Buying a Match 95 auto questions
Only DSG I have ever had is in my current GTI which I got in September last year. Initially I thought it was great but as time goes on you start to notice things. In my opinion it is jerky when the car is driven at a slow pace which is odd, I am pretty sure the gear shift is tied to the throttle pre...

Re: OPF/GPF exhaust options?
Not an experts with exhausts at all. Was wondering if anyome could list the options available for a OPF exhaust to make it sound a little better? I know I can have the opf deleted but this may fail the MOT so this is out the question, other than getting a full new exhaust back, what options do I ha...

Re: Polo GTI Stage 1 Remap
Mine currently has the OPF/GPF which was disappointing, don’t fancy buy a miltek exhaust just yet as if I can’t get it tuned within the next year I’ll be getting rid probably. The car itself is great I’ve just felt disappointed in its performance but maybe I was expecting too much! Does anyone know...

Re: Polo GTI Stage 1 Remap
I got a quote a month or two ago from Celtic Tuning, this gives you an idea of what they're offering for what £££.

Re: Brake upgrade
It would have been easier to buy a GTI in the first place, all the cost and complication involved. Will end up like Trigger's broom. 'May as well of bought a golf if you're going to upgrade that.' 'May as well of got an R rather than a GTI if you're going to upgrade that' Not helpful really is it....

Re: How much to tint rear windows?
Rear sides and rear was £150ish with a local comapny to me. Few friends have had mobile people come and do theirs and they paid less, about £100-£120ish but I would rather it be done in a temp monitored garage and inside. I don't get how you can apply vinyl in any heat and outside with all the dust ...

Wheel Hub Rust
Picked my GTI up brand new in September and after one winter the wheel hubs were rusted in my opinion to a ridiculous point in such a short space of time. I had a 1.0 TSI for 3 years before this and after three years they weren't this bad. Phoned the dealer and explained I wasn't happy, and I unders...
