Thanks, that's a big help, I had assumed it would be on the CAN convenience network (of which my towing module is connected to, and was conveniently located under the front seat ) but alas, further wires to run to the BCM fortunately it's all still in pieces.

All tests were ok, checked continuity with multimeter and checked output from the light switch for front and rear fog lights and i was getting +12v when front and rear fogs selected on the relevant pins to the BC...
