I can’t find anything to say that it’s ever been done.
I’ve had the car 2 years now so just going to get it done.

Where would I find the engine code please?

And it’s diesel so guessing it’s a belt then. Looks like I’m forking out to get it changed then

My car is a 2012 1.2 blue motion and I am struggling to see if it has a timing belt or chain.

Turns out it was one of the shoes on the back. It was badly worn down so I had to have both replaced

I think it sounds like it’s coming from the front, possibly one of the wheels. It’s progressively got worse over the last week

My Polos recently started making a high pitched noise when driving. The noise only starts once the car is hot and when I apply the brakes it stops. Blue motion 2012 and it’s done about 80000 miles. I would clean the egr return pipe. The one that goes into anti sthuder valve. Cheap and easy and gets gunked. Is this something I can do myself? It’s in for MOT next week and I’m able to turn the EML off and it stays off for a couple of days so hopefully it’ll pass

Mine stopped working yesterday and I replaced the fuse and it worked.
My polo is 2012 1.2 and it was fuse 17 for me, 7.5 fuse
