Charge for yearly service
Hey folks.....
What is the generally accepted amount to expect to pay for a standard service? I have a 4 year old polo in decent condition, 31k that is now up for its yearly service. Last year I went to a private garage who quoted around 75 quid over the phone but I ended up paying 212 quid when ...

Loud humming at 70mph
Hey folks,
Recently, in the last few months, I've noticed a really loud humming when my y2k 1.4 60bhp (28,000) reaches 70 mph on m'ways (obviously, I don't exceed the limit, hee hee). The rev counter is still pretty low and below this speed its good as gold.
Could anything be loose? Anyone have ...

Door lock problem...
This maybe the wrong forum, nevermind...I dont have central locking on my 2000 1.4 and the drivers side door lock wont depress manually, it'll only lock with the key. How easy is it to fix this problem?
Cheers,
Marc
