is it me or does that seem a little pricey for 6 years old and 100k+ ?
I think you'd prefer the 1.9TDI for that money.

Mine lost power when one of the small vacuum hoses had a split in it. You'll need to check them carefully. They're the small bunch of (6?) hoses coming out of a black box on the driver's suspension strut.

How long is a piece of string? Without knowing your driving style or what the most/min you've got it's hard to tell. Plus how much do you put in to do 360/390 miles? It'll vary each time. What is your computer saying your MPG is? You had high 40s last time you posted IIRC, so perhaps you just drive ...

From memory all lights should have a drain hole which is supposed to stop condensation by letting it escape somewhere. You could see if this is blocked. I don't think any lights are sealed fully because the bulbs have to click in somewhere.....

The recirc ones are to do with the Climatic heating system and you may find it can't properly regulate the temperature. I am afraid this is an awkward one to fix, have a search on the forum and you'll find lots of advice on the matter. The problem is it's a fairly time consuming job, IIRC.
