Re: 9n 1.9 TDI Clutch
Isn't the DMF a pain in the ass on these cars? I've heard people put single mass flywheels on if they get replaced but I don't know if that's applicable to the 1.9TDI. Might be worth checking out. (They tend to be a pain because the springs connecting the two masses get weak and the car ends up vibr...

Re: Rear Wiper Failure?
I think the fuse card is reflected, from memory, which makes it hard to figure out what goes where until you understand it.
Got a picture of the card and the box?

Re: tyre brands...
for that size, I warned you about the Parada's! Best I've had on the Polo were Uniroyal rainsports and BF Goodrich profiler sports were very good too. If you want to spend a bit less, then Toyos are a good bet but will wear out quickly. Bridgestone and Michelin are very good makes and are a good sta...

Re: NON-RUNNER 1.4 VW Polo 6n2. - Now with link to Photos
Are you open to realistic offers? It's just that a fully working 2001 1.4 with around 100k looks to be around £1500 on Autotrader with a warranty. It seems this needs a headgasket and the gearbox problem (clutch) sorted, and trailored away.
Just some friendly advice.

You probably want to search for "spoiler" or "skirts" as not a lot of people advertise them under "votex"

Re: 9n questions
you'll probably have to take the airbox out and reach under to find the pipes that have pulled apart. A zip tie over the connection should help it after it's back together. Other than that, keep it full of a good mix if screenwash so it doesn't freeze in the future.

Re: Foodie's 2nd 9n Project **NEW PICS ADDED**
You won't be able to take the suspension strut off the front (as a whole) without compressors. Or it'll be nearly impossible at the very most. You can do the rears no problems though. If you can afford it, get a local garage to do the fronts for you. They have all the right stuff (clamp splitters, c...

Re: Foodie's 2nd 9n Project **NEW PICS ADDED**
Is it true you need a M14 spline key on the front suspension? Or something along those lines? Cheers, Mike Yep, M14 XZN (NOT Torx) You don't necessarily need a ring spanner for the top mount to get them off the car. You may find it easier to undo the 13mm bolts, take off the suspension, and then ta...

When I looked on Autotrader there were tons above this price too, and non...

They're OK, probably highsports. Quite a harsh bumpy ride from what I've heard. To be honest you get what you pay for with coilovers.
