Isn't the DMF a pain in the ass on these cars? I've heard people put single mass flywheels on if they get replaced but I don't know if that's applicable to the 1.9TDI. Might be worth checking out. I think the fuse card is reflected, from memory, which makes it hard to figure out what goes where until you understand it.

Are you open to realistic offers? It's just that a fully working 2001 1.4 with around 100k looks to be around £1500 on Autotrader with a warranty. It seems this needs a headgasket and the gearbox problem (clutch) sorted, and trailored away.

You probably want to search for "spoiler" or "skirts" as not a lot of people advertise them under "votex"

you'll probably have to take the airbox out and reach under to find the pipes that have pulled apart. A zip tie over the connection should help it after it's back together. Other than that, keep it full of a good mix if screenwash so it doesn't freeze in the future.
