I have some sachs nitrogen coilovers that could really do with a service, does anyone know where i could get this done.

I bought some coilovers off ebay a while back and have been on my car for about 5 months now. They are SACHS Struts with eibach springs. The actual strut has a gas bottle attached which is filled with nitrogen and has an adjuster at the bottom which i think is for rebound but am not sure ...

For now i have added a wire from somewhere else that only has power when the key is turned but i still want the original one to work. Now that it turns on though, the cd changer is not recognised when i click the source button. Any ideas?

Just had some coilovers fitted today and when i picked it up i turned the kwy and the CD player came on. It turned off for about 30 seconds and hasn't worked since. Where is the best place to buy a camshaft for the AEX engine and which is the best value for money. Are there any VW cams that will fit this engine that will increase performance. Also what power gains are to be expected from having one of these?

I have a 1996 POLO SE which has a 1.4 8v engine (AEX). So far i have a cat back exhaust system. What else can i do to the engine and what is the best thing to do next considering im a student and money doesn't grow on trees. It would be much appreciated if someone could give me some ideas.

About a month ago i was having problem with my right front tweeter as the sound from it would go sometimes and come back again. It does have a chip in the key because when i took it in for an ordinary key, they put it in a machine which showed them that it had a chip in it. They ordered the blank, copyed the chip and cut it.

Yes £30, have you every heard of a key cutting company called Timpson, dont know if they have one in your area and it works fine in my 1996 Polo SE, It not a genuine VW blank (the blank has HD written on it) and they had to order it in specially but cost £30 inc cutting.

I only had one key and took it to the local TIMPSONS key cutters and they had to order a blank and they copied the chip and cut key and it works fine. Cost me £30.

Can a 1.4 8v engine be converted to the 16v model and what is needed to do this?
