Re: Dashcam cable routing
What is this thing that I found just hanging freely in the fuse box compartment? Looks like some kind of speaker. IMG_0154.jpeg If it’s a VW part it’ll have a part number stamped onto it. If you Google the part number, you should be able to find out what it is. Good call. Google says it's the parki...

Re: Dashcam cable routing
About to get a couple of dashcams for my Polo and this post has been very helpful. Thanks. Wanting to hardwire for parking mode so looking at a permanent 12v supply. I see the 40 amp central locking fuse has been suggested to tap but looking into the specs of most of these fuse taps, they all appear...

Re: 2021 Infotainment and USB C
Like you say memory card functionality was pretty bullet proof and always remembered the last track. Any USB devices however have been a bit flakey for me be it on the old models or the new USBC cars. I currently have a sandisk USBC drive I am using and it remembers the last track for a while but at...

Re: Interior mods/QOL accessories
I have USB-C slots and I have been using a 32GB sandisk memory stick. This does work but sometimes when getting back in the car it doesn't continue where it left off and jumps back to the first track on the stick. I had the same issue in my old golf with a USB stick but the memory card was faultless...

OK thanks. Grabbed one from ebay and it's working great. Looks so much better than the yellow light it has replaced.

Now that you have fixed the flickering have you tried them all to see which illuminates the boot the best?

Re: Retractable parcel shelf
Yeah our lab is fine in the back of our Golfs (GTD & GTI). The GTI is at the end of its lease so swapping for the polo so I can share it with my son when he turns 17. I am going to really miss my GTI  The polo boot looks like it should be OK for short trips. He loves a trip even if it's jus...

Re: Retractable parcel shelf
All cars with a boot big enough for a lab should have a retractable load cover

Re: Retractable parcel shelf
No, I guess you would have to screw on little clips for it to slot into.

Retractable parcel shelf
Hi,
With a dog in and out of the car I just have my parcel shelf sat in the garage most of the time. Has anyone found a decent retractable shelf?
