No problems (thank goodness !!!). The car does have pretensioners in the safety belts, but these are in the b-pillar so are not actually ...

I would like to take the seats out of my polo to vacuum thoughroughly under the seats as it is quite dirty.

My question is, is there a danger of airbags going off or something else untoward happening if I take the seats out ? I don't ...

I have a "saloon" polo, it is in fact called the polo classic here in South Africa. I have the 9n2 (round lights), but the new revised one is available with the only difference being the front headlights, which are the same as the hatch.

I had the choice of either the saloon or the hatch when I ...

Here are the instructions as per workshop manual for the changing of the brake fluid.

I had the brake fluid changed on my polo, by the dealers as the workshop manual does show a very complicated and intricate method of doing it. Apparently the fluid gets "sucked" out at each well as apposed to being drained and then just filled up.

I am not sure if one can do it oneself, but I sure ...

VW Beta radio questions

Hi all. This is the first time I am posting under this forum and I have a simple question.

I have a 1.6 Polo Comfortline that came standard with the beta radio and in dash 6 disk changer. Reading other posts on the forum, it seems that the beta can only take 2, maybe 4 speakers. My car, totally ...

Need some advice / help - Polo Classic

Hi all, I am from SA and have a 9n Polo classic (polo with boot). The car is great, but I have two things that are a problem on the car.
1. There is a rattle/ sqeak coming from the rear at both sides. It would appear to be either in the c pillars (above rear wheel arches), or in the boot (both sides ...
