thankyou for the reply, how many miles have you put on the car since ownership? and have you had to change the clutches at any stage?

I’m looking at getting a 6C Gti in the near future, i am swayed towards the DSG version but i’ve heard horror stories about the gearbox.
Is the DQ200 box that bad that it can’t handle stock power? am i better off going manual? i have no intention to increase stock power of the dsg but i don’t want ...

but it doesn’t seem to want to go into my headlight switch, any idea why?

can it be any junior power timer? and must it be 0.5mm or above

i am going to purchase a new wire to go from the headlights switch to the relay, do i need to cut the current grey wire where it meets the relay (and crimp a new piece of wire which will go to the headlight switch) or remove it with the terminal still attached and replace with a new wire with ...

the wire is far from the headlight switch, can i cut it and crimp a new piece of wire to reach the headlight switch? if so what is the wire i need? just 1.5mm grey wire or does it have a specific name

will the the female connector have to be smaller to fit into the headlight switch?

done now, where / how do i get to the grey wire that i need to remove, thankyou for your patience by the way

how do i remove that white clip from the back of the stalk? is there clips that have to be undone?

is the L-shaped plug your referring to the one that plugs into the stalks and sits just above the key barrel?

the wheel is off and the steering columns are off, how do i get the wiper stalk off the wheel?

does the whole steering wheel need to come off to get to behind the stalks or is it possible to do it by just removing the colum cover
