Re: Vw polo blue gt o2 sensor post cat issues
I have had both lambda sensors changed on my 1.2TSI CBZB Polo. Only way to fix properly was to install genuine sensors.

Re: Toymachine1' Polo 6R Comfortline 1.2 TSI
Tried ABS coding with VCDS today and unfortunately same result as with OBDeleven. Tried everything: doors closed, doors open, ignition on, engine running, hood open, entered security codes. Each time error 22.

Re: Toymachine1' Polo 6R Comfortline 1.2 TSI
Installed R-line rear bumper adapters (6R6807409 + 6R6807410) today. As I thought they won't fill the whole gap, but that's how VW has designed it I guess. Looks much better now though and the bumper is better supported now. (Screws are missing in the photo below, it started raining) :D

Re: Toymachine1' Polo 6R Comfortline 1.2 TSI
Hey, the error I was getting was just coming from coding attempts. I currently have no error codes but didn't try the correct coding with VCDS yet. Maybe during the weekend or next week. I will post an update when I have tried. Hopefully success.

Re: Toymachine1' Polo 6R Comfortline 1.2 TSI
The Byte10 in your new ABS coding for 288-232 was not correct.
Oh thank you so much this I got wrong. Coding is still not accepted but I am using OBDeleven. Although I am able to enable XDS with it and all other coding and such has been successful so far.
Later this week I will attempt this ...

Re: Toymachine1' Polo 6R Comfortline 1.2 TSI
I seem to remember that the codings on the ABS unit are done with Ignition ON and Engine OFF. ... the new coding will be accepted once you exit diagnostics.
Try to see what happens.
Thank you for the advise. Unfortunately tried this but no luck yet. My left ABS sensor was not connected so I ...

Re: Cruise control doing cheeky stuff
I had same symptoms and now cruise control has been completely dead for a bit. Just received new part (6Q0953513AL) today. I will let you know if changing that fixes it when I get to it. Note you might need bit different part depending on your cars configuration.

Re: Polo 6R Brake Upgrade
It seems that some cars with 256 discs share same caliber (1K0615124) as the ones with 288 discs?
If so then when upgrading from 256 to 288 only thing that needs to be replaced is the caliber carrier and discs? Am I getting it right?
Edit: Will be ok if situation is as mentioned above. Wheel ...

Re: Toymachine1' Polo 6R Comfortline 1.2 TSI
Judging by the brake discs, you haven't driven it a lot lately? ;)
We don't drive the Polo that much but still 100-200 kilometers each week. Some weeks more as sometimes we like to take family trips with the Polo, it just has different atmosphere compared to Octavia IV. 8)
The brake discs ...

Polo after 13 years and 203000 km. It's still OK but body definitely needs some work when you look closer :) Bottom of the car is still holding up extremely well. Just the few dents, small rust and scratches that need to be repaired.

Re: Toymachine1' Polo 6R Comfortline 1.2 TSI
I recommend you check the correct installation of the steering column combi switch (bolt, clamp, T41 connector), and if the installation is correct, replace the levers set with a NEW one.
