Hmmm. Ok thanks. Not sure I have the same problem as there are no seals in play here. My local garage has looked at this and happy that just having the 4 bolts in place is sufficient. Will speak to VW also. This ERWin system…..is this where they log all known issues? Is it used in the UK?

Just had this on my 2018 Polo. Loud knocking noise started. Called the AA. They found one of the 5 bolts almost completely loose and knocking into the plastic cam cover which was causing the noise. The other 4 were also not tight and the AA wee e able to tighten by hand. I now only have 4 bolts in ...
