Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery

ET48, no rubbing issues, pretty sure rear is wound as low as it will go without removing bumpstops. front is probably 10mm lower and still fine. That is great to hear. How far do you recon are you from "flush" fitment? Is there any space that should you have the option you would poke the ...

Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery

Okay, so these are 18x8, but do you happen to know the offset? Thanks for answering already, I am just also very interested in numbers behind ET, since your fitment also looks perfect on pictures and from what I have read from your previous replies you have no issues with rubbing still even on lowe...

Re: How do I know if the car I am looking at has Android Auto/Carplay installed?

As far as I know it should work, check this video to see if it helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0CxTv_hUgg I know some phone cables can be finicky, use the correct USB cable too. Thank you. Though I am still not sure I am pretty sure that worst case scenario it can be activated at a dealersh...

Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery

@SRGTD Oz alloys fitted by the one previous owner who also chucked 4 x michelin pilot sport 4’s on as well (nice choice). When i viewed the car the 2 rears had minor curbing so as part of my offer i requested the 4 wheels be refurbed and also recoloured to the dark grey as opposed to the standard s...

How do I know if the car I am looking at has Android Auto/Carplay installed?

Hello! Could be a stupid question, but for three days I am now trying to find an answer online with no luck. I was test driving a 2018 Polo GTI with "Discover Media" sat nav equipped, as well as "Car-Net for 3 years" amongst options but I couldn't get it to work with my Android p...

Re: Actively hunting for '18 MY car - makes sense?

I’m also of a age where I wouldn’t want a loud exhaust 😀. My GTI+ is also a 2020 model year car with a GPF, and I went for the dark iron dash inserts too, rather than the red ones. The GPF hasn’t caused me any issues and the only time I’ve been aware my car has one is when it’s done a forced regene...

Actively hunting for '18 MY car - makes sense?

Hello, first time posting! Currently driving '11 Mini Cooper S - fairly analog car, love it to bits, but it is the time for an upgrade. Initially I was looking at new '22 Golf GTI - but (ignoring the fact that I am unable to test drive it anywhere) I am very afraid of the infotainment and the need o...
