Hi My 98 1.4cl Polo has just developed a fault, when i press the trip meter button nothing happens, now the service indicator has come on the speedo and of course i cant reset it as the trip meter button doesnt work. any ideas how this can be solved, i really hope it does not need a new speedo unit ...

the temperature gauge now works though it reads lower than before and when driving down a dual carrageway the temp reading drops, the air from the heater is warm though not as hot as before i had the thermostat replaced.

any ideas?

i had a replacement thermostat and now my temp guage no longer works

can some kind soul tell me where to look under the bonnet for the sensor/ connector?

Hope you can help, i had a thermostat changed on my polo yesterday but the temp guage no longer works, can someone tell me where the wire is connected to on the engine?

its a sigma M30 so it also has an immobiliser

the fault has now changed as sometimes all indicators stay on, please help as dont know what to do

am afraid not very technically minded.

the fault has now changed in that sometimes when i activate or de activate the alarm all 4 indicator lights come on and then stay on

is it possible for me to deactivate the alarm completly??

I have had my Mk3 polo for about 3 years, its fitted with a sigma 3 alarm and i think its developing a fault

when i activate the keyfob to get into the car sometime the left indicators stay on

any idea what it could be and how i can sort it?

my vw polo stalls when approaching traffic lights though sometimes the revs drop to about 600rpm and then go back up to around 850rpm.I am finding this very unnerving.

Hi Really hope someone can help me. Some kind soul managed to wack my drivers side wing mirror on my 1998 vw polo (green). It has smashed the mirror itself and damaged the back of the housing so i need to get it replaced. can someone advise me where i can get one from and how much roughly it will co...
