Hi all,
Got it sorted, went to one garage who tried to charge for new HID bulbs and ballasts with fitting then went to another who coded the BCM.
All fixed and working now.
Thanks for all the responses.

Re: HID Headlight conversion
I don’t think you can code with Carista.
It’s mainly basic features which can be applied and checked.
What do you use or recommend?

Re: HID Headlight conversion
Hi Patil,
I don't have a VCDS cable but I did plug my Carista in the other day.
I had 2 error codes for both front low beams. I can check soon if an actual scan is needed.
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
Attached where ballasts are installed and the front headlight where the low/high beam isn't working.

HID Headlight conversion
Hi all, In great need of help with my HID headlight conversion. Basically, I have a Polo Mk5 6R 2013 and I recently purchased VLAND headlights which use a D2H HID bulb which has replaced the halogen headlight and bulb. A few weeks ago I installed the headlights but they started flickering. I've swit...

Re: DSG Paddle shifter removal
Checked on Reddit also and basically came to the conclusion it won’t fit.
The grooves in the paddles compared to the OEM paddles are different.

Re: DSG Paddle shifter removal
I just don’t want to disconnect battery, remove airbag and undo current paddles to find out they don’t fit.
Also, that video is for Golf R’s and GTI’s. Blue GT’s and older models which don’t have that type of steering wheel don’t have the pin he’s referring to. Well at least mine doesn’t.

DSG Paddle shifter removal
Hi all,
Has anyone attempted or done a paddle shift replacement?
Bought a set of blue paddle shifters for the BlueGT and I have no idea how to remove the current ones.
Does anyone know how? I can’t find the pin at the bottom to remove it from?
Thanks in advance.

Is a 1.4 turbo worth modding?
Hi all,
I have a BlueGT 1.4 Turbo Petrol and I’ve got a list of mods lined up for it. Yet, I keep thinking is it worth it? Seeing the small performance gains which are made from a small engine.
What do yous think?

Re: DSG not creeping & jerky pulling away
I have a 1.4 BlueGT DSG and I realised that I always jerk forward when my auto stop-start is enabled.
If you do have auto stop-start try not to hit the accelerator as hard from a stand still which I did in my case, feather it.
