Re: GTI tyre pressure loss indicator issue?
I’ve had the exact same problem today. Reported as front left but when I’ve checked the pressures are fine. I did have a strange abs activation the other day though, was slowing normally up to a set of lights and felt the buzzing as you do when the abs kicks in but I wasn’t doing anything remotely ...

Re: No Internet connection
I actually got it to start working today. I deleted my profile, did a factory reset and then set up my profile again. Wouldn’t connect first try but gave it another go when I noticed the globe had lit up properly and it worked. It’s the first time since last august I’ve had it happen so hopefully it ...

Re: No Internet connection
Is yours still working? I noticed today that the globe icon is greyed out on mine, app hasn't updated in 6 days but I do have a green light for the SOS button

Better front Mats
So yesterday I gave my 2022 4700 mile GTi a quick hoover out and noticed my drivers floor mat already has a hole where my heal goes, never had this before on such a new car. Dunno if it's just bad luck or if its poor quality on VW's part, they do seem kinda thin. Anyway has anyone found any good ...

Re: Anyone had forced GPF regens yet?
Pretty sure I had a forced regen the other night coming home from work. Same journey, same traffic as usual but got over 10 mpg less. Apart from the mpg figure I also had the louder exhaust note for 10-15 min. Whats surprising is most of my mileage is motorway based. My commute is 20 miles each way ...

Re: 2022 Gti Removing front door cards
Normally I'd agree too, thats what warranty is for after all, however for the points you made I was hoping to have a go at it myself. Ive been on the receiving end of a dealer damaging a car and denying it. Cheers for the video, I'll have a look tomorrow and see whats what. If it looks too much of a ...

2022 Gti Removing front door cards
Anyone removed the front door cards and got any tips or know of any guides. Only had a quick look in the dark earlier but i could only see 1 screw right under where the window controls are. I need to get the passenger side off, its creaking and driving me mad.

Re: Road Sign recognition
You’ll probably not see me round there in my car, but if you see some weirdo driving a tram and waving at you, then that’ll be me.lancslad1985 wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 10:03 am Probably me then as I’ve not seen any other kings red gtis and I work in Trafford park. If I see you again I’ll give you a wave!

Yeah, it'd be about 6am, mines on a private reg, I've seen a red Gti round Trafford park too.lancslad1985 wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 8:10 am If it was 6am or about 4-4:30pm could well be! I overtook a white gti on the m61 last week as well, 72 plate. Gave the driver a wave!

Re: Road Sign recognition
Sorry Mike, was a general question. It explains why I don’t see it then, as I don’t really use the acc. I tend to use the speed limiter instead as I drive round the m60 with its constantly changing limits.
Saw a Red Gti on the M60 a couple of weeks ago, came past me in my white one not far off ...

Re: Noisy brakes 2022 GTi
Just a follow up to this, took the car for a more spirited drive, at least as much as the conditions allow, the brakes have once again returned to being silent, at least when braking going forwards. They still make a bit of noise when I brake in reverse but i can live with that.

Re: Alarm goes off in high winds / rain
I've had exactly the same thing happen at least twice, always in heavy rain. I've just put it down to the alarm being a bit sensitive.

Re: Noisy brakes 2022 GTi
Cheers for the reples fella's and sorry for my late one, had a busy day at work. Hopefully it's just a temperature thing, makes sense as it goes quiet after a while. Probably doesn't help with my commute being 38 miles of motorway and 2 miles of A roads. Finished work this morning at 01:30am and it ...
