theyre alright to use when driving long distance but i wouldnt keep it on overnight or when u r generally not using the car.
ebay's always a good place to check as well

well the £££'s i gave him for the mk2 are goin towards gettin the ecu remapped, he sent that away last thursday and its due back in a few days, then he's just putting it back together, r32 alloys on it now as well!! :P :P

theres meant to be a "big eastside vw" meet at the end of august, i hope ...

mk4...yeah its his, he works with me. i bought it off another guy from aberdeen/work/eastside "vr6daz....the boy thats supercharging a mk3 vr6!!!! :shock: :P :P

its the 1.8 8v. only plans are styling really, the engine was completly re-furbed a year ago, all new parts, induction kit, chipped ecu, power flow zorst.

i was £1500 through insurance for a new front wing and driver side re-spray, i would say u wouldnt be too shy of a grand....

i have to agree 17's mite look a tad big imo, u should jack her up put them on and try and imagine it.
also not just the fact they mite look big but for a 1.4 8valver i'd imagine u'd notice quite a big speed/acceleration loss.

i would say thats a fair price, maybe even get a bit more - depending on body condition. and if its got years MOT tax etc. low mileage aswell.
