error codes. unsure where to start
i have errors where if i try to activate the heated wing mirrors, the front and rear wipers would activate. or another where the parking sensor alarm would go off when i'm nowhere near anything. on research, i'd seen that a bad CAN unit can cause multiple issues, so i had removed the CAN and checked...

Re: DAB Radio Issue
i had the same issue with the DAB signal.
I got another VW ariel of the same type from ebay and tested it. DAB worked as normal again.
i see that these antennae can be opened, i wonder if it's worth taking a look inside?

CAN bus gateway location
Hi all Does anyone know the location of the can bus gateway? i have looked underneath the steering column but cannot see it. i have ran a search for the unit and they do sell around 4 different variants on ebay. I ask because i have some random, non linked faults: random activation of parking / prox...

no TMC traffic updates
Hi all i know this topic has been discussed MANY times, however i no longer get traffic updates on the infotainment system. i am aware that the data for this usually comes down via the classic fm band, and i do get traffic reports via that station. however when looking at the live traffic updates ii...

Re: ABS sensor ring
i'm planning to replace the entire bearing, hence asking what kind of puller i needed (the ring is part of the bearing, like you and iichel said). i am getting an ABS error. i have already replaced the sensor (it was a fun job), and reset the error code VCDS. but the error has come back. on researc...

Re: ABS sensor ring
I don't know. On the Polo 6R the ring is a magnetic part that's integrated into the hub. Perhaps it's a separate part on other cars though. i'll take a look. if i do have to replace the entire bearing, would it be the 72mm bearing puller that I would need? Yes it is the 72mm Gen2 bearing puller kit...

ABS sensor ring
Hi all
On the polo 6R, the ABS sensor is located on the front wheel bearing.
Is there a way to remove the ABS ring or does the entire wheel bearing have to be replaced?
Thanks
