Got some assistance from ciclo and changed some coding, turned out we had a defective brake light after all...would thought I would get a message in MFD?

Got my son to check this and for some odd reason it was unchecked..checked it and saved new coding and high beam worked as it should

I’m currently at work, but we’ll try to scan it tomorrow. I did check for codes after installation of the auto light switch (none present), but did not try high beam first. My son is normally user of the car, and he confirm that high beam worked prior to light switch swap.

I have recently upgraded a Polo to auto headlights and everything works as it should except high beam.
High beam works if I use flash, but not as high beam pushing stalk forward.

Any ideas?

My oldest son has a 2015 1.8 GTI with a resonated Milltek and it sounds amazing. Got the deep tone without being to much.

I have now installed the MIB2 unit and everything works as it should. Removed 77 Telephone from installation list in CAN gateway, and the funny thing now is that I have a coding error in CAN gateway and vdcs still try to reach 77 when scanning. Any ideas? Edit: Checked 77 again in installation list ...

In the process of upgrading RCD-510 to a MIB2 PQ CM. I just checked the gateway installation list and 5F is missing. The BCM is a HW: 7H0 937 090 Component: BCM PQ25 Max4 H72 0708. Does this mean we need to swap the BCM to get access to 5F, or can I force access just by entering 5F manually? Any ins...

First post on this forum, so bare with me.. We just purchased a 2013 Polo GT and I really miss the auto setting on light switch. Stopped by a junk yard today an got a light switch from a 6C, but notice the symbols does not line up correctly....not compatible with my OCD at all :lol: How did you sort...
