Uh.. Help?

Hi folks, sorry in advance if i'm covering old ground but my polo was seriously playing up on way to work this morning... Started up fine and went about a mile before it started to stutter when i accelerated. It's hard to explain but it felt like I had big flat spots that caused the car to jump ...

Something i've been meaning to try for ages is create a custom grille. admittedly I've done no research yet but was planning on buying some meshing and maybe adding a pipe outlet for an induction kit... Just an idea.

Got a powerflow full system on mine and to be honest you adjust to the noise your car makes. I do the occasional long run down M1/M25 and as long as you got some good tunes it's not a major problem. Saying that my first car was a mini with a wack-off huge center exit system, that was noisy! In my ...

Had / having same kind of problem with mine mate. Can sometimes take 5 mins of pressing button on key fob before car opens. Trouble is i've been to all the local alarm / car shops and been told that it's not possible to get a replacement key fob because they can't get them. Even my VW dealer said ...

Eek! Admittedly i'm no expert mate, but if it was me, i'd call the trusty RAC / AA to get in car for you. Seen them get into a friend's car in literally seconds with a funky light-stick-hook-jobby. Might even work out cheaper to join if you haven't already, but make sure you get the option that ...

As you mentioned a powerflow exhaust, can seriously recomend them. Had mine done just over a year ago at britania tyres in derby and the guys where great. Recently took it back for it's yearly check-up, a couple of brackets needed changing and a some rubber had perished but was all done within 5 ...

Don't quote me on this, but I'm almost certain I read somewhere that mud flaps increase your performance in some way... something to do with the power range or some such technical doings... could be wrong.

The quick and the rare...

Just a quick couple of questions (feel like a child in a sweet shop after finding this forum!).

1. Is their alot of difference power wise between the 1.4 16v and the 1.6GLX? And what bhp did they both have out of the factory?

2. Is it just me or the 1.6GLX models pretty rare on the roads? had mine ...
