Alright mate , i fixed this problem myself , you can get repair kits
from ebay , search for polo lock. To remove the paddle you slide a horse shoe type clip up an then should be able to remove parts. There is a explosive diagram on here somewhere.
It is as said above , rock hard to get the spring in ...

search for POLO LOCK a few kits come up , there are two depending on the age of your car.
I got mine from a seller called euro locks i think.
Do a search on the foum mate more info there

Sounds like the prob i,ve had mate , what happens is a piece of the lock snaps, u can take the handle and lock off by opening the door and removing the torx bolt at the side of the handle near the door catch.
epair kits are available on ebay its quite a common fault.

I think its the material they use to crate the baffle , sound deadining stuff , so the zorst will get pretty load if ya loose it all

Hi People .

had a slight arse ender this mornin , lad ran
into the back of me when i was stopped at lights.

There looks like no damage at all on either cars , all my bumper , boot , etc look fine. Even the metal bottom bumper looks fine.

Wot i would like to no is whay else can i check ? , it all ...

Had this myself mate , my cars freezin when drivin cos it cools down , thermostat is stuck open! Go back to where u got it done an get it looked at.

Let me no how you get on as i wanna fix mine but aint had time.

Work out window conversion

Right after paying shed loads of money on my electric windows there both stuffed again!!! :cry:

Can anyone tell me what i need to convert to work outs?? Are the door cards the same? if so wll i just need the regulators and handles an cut a hole in the door card?

Any pics spares or advise for this ...

Ah good old S!"t Fit. If i was you buy the bracket get it fitted , if it turns out its the backbox afterall i think Kwik fit have a three year warranty on there exhausts , i no i got one last month when my backbox and middlebox where replaced. Just tell them an they should replace it or fit it ...

I got a key cut with the chip in for £35 form timpson mate.
The earlier keys can be copied , the later ones use a rolling code and cant be .

13Th unlucky for me!

Had a rough day today , dreaded MOT time!!!

Failed on wishbone bushes , rear wheel bearing and both rear brakes!!
I,ve left it with them anyone no if these are big or expensive jobs??

Also he let me off with the front disks and pads but said they need doing asap , anyone no hw much this will cost ...

Yeah mate , replace the thermostat and as harris said above check the housing it sits in.
Its exactly wot i had mate car was fine till it overheated now it overcools

alright boss ,

As u no from the other thread i,ve had this prob ,
could be down to the thermostat being stuck open , missfitted or missing altogether!!! Have a look its a easy job let me no how u get on.
