Further to this - my neighbour has a basic code reader (generic reader, think it's branded RAC) that will apparantly reset the engine warning light.
Does anyone know if it's okay to just clear the fault codes (and hopefullly the engine warning light with it) or do I need to do the throttle ...

Oil pressure light (or lack of)
Hello
I've had the Polo (1.4 SE) for about a while now - runs well and no problems to date, but one thing I've noticed is the oil pressure light never comes on i.e. when I turn the ignition on, the other lights come on but not the oil pressure light.
Can't find any thing in the handbook of help ...
