I've got similar problem to Stacey with my N reg 1.6 polo, is temp switch the same thing as thermostat?

Do i have to take it into a garage or is it something that i could have a look at myself.

My central locking went completely nuts yesterday, I think there must be something wrong with the wiring, coz it constanly tries to lock the doors even when they are locked :? for now i unplugged the thing in ...

I would but the problem is that its not the sound, the whole car is jerking sided to side, but the engine dont make any unusual noises/sounds.

Since last week my polo sterted doing strnge things:

1) As soon i turn the engine on central locking locks all the doors :?

2) When i stop at the lights my car has started vibrating, it very annoying, but it only does it when i stop, also i noticed that the gearstick moves about and it never used ...
