Hello all, the time has come to sell my beloved car due to financial reasons to be very honest - I've owned this car now for just over a year and it's been a pleasure - I've been involved in the VAG scene for the last 8 years (since 17) and have owned G40 Polos, MK2 Golf GTi's and MK4 R32 Golf so ...

Sounds good mate! Nah i'm not back in the Polo scene...but who knows, as i've just put my mk5 golf GTi up for sale and want something a bit cheaper! Maybe a 9N or something could be on the cards.

Hi all, I've got my springs and shocks that were on my mk5 polo GTi 2000 registeration. They are in good condition and would be good for either a mk5 GTi needing spares/replacements or to put on your normal mk5 polo, it will lower your car by around 15mm.

Yeah exactly Alex, had mine done now for a few months and all is ok!

Personally I wouldn't advise it, you are damaging in the integrity of the wheel. I'm not sure an Insurance advisor would like it either.

But, if you really want it done any decent engineering place should be able to do it for you. But it's your funeral if it goes wrong ;)
