The only problem I have now is an lamp fault indication on th dash that I triggered early on in this process when buggering about with VCDS. I have changed something but I can't find it for love nor money.

I've worked out how to perfom an Autoscan! I've attached the coding and the bit in question looks correct? What is the problem or is it still something I'm doing wrong?

I've got my vcds working correctly ( it wasn't earlier) I've retried what youv'e recommended before to no avail (Lights still either main or dip never both together) what do you recmmend I try next? I see you suggest I send a pic of ...

I have tried what you suggest ciclo, after I make the bit change and check it has changed by clicking on another to confirm it doesn't save when I exit. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem on my daughters VW Polo. Did the vcds route solve the problem?
I have a friend with a vcds lead and the relevant software, we took a look but we couldn't see Byte 22 in the 09 address so couldn't "enable/Disable" the settings.
We also tried in vain to switch off the daytime ...
