the bulb is separate to the base part.

it does come out but may need a bit of pulling to remove it.

i had the same problem changing a bulb on my sons car.

the bulb didnt want to come out of the holder but i think that may have been because it was the original bulb from the factory.

my son has a 2006 polo 1.2 3 cyl BMD engine and he is going to give it a full service.

it had new plugs about 6 months ago so we wont have to worry about them.

apart from the usual oil, air, pollen filters, does anyone know the service interval change for the fuel filter please ?

i had to replace the mirror on my sons car aswell.

the mirror is held on by two screw and a clip the presses into the door frame and the bottom lug press fits into the clip to hold the bottom part in.

i bet the garage that changed it didnt fit the bottom clip and its still attached to the old ...

can someone please tell me the correct spark plug change interval for a 2006 POLO with a BMD 1.2 3cyl engine ?

i have looked on an online ETKA and it lists both longlife eco economy type spark plugs.

does anybody know the correct oil to put in a 2006 9N3 polo 1.2 3 cyl engine ?

my son has just got one as his first car and the oil needs topping up or changing completely.

also we think the coolant wants changing aswell. do i need to use only the VW G12 coolant or can i use any type of red ...

its a great little car in excellent condition with 86K on the clock but it needs a few odds and sods doing on it including the rear washer pipe leaking in the engine bay and the boot latch not unlocking properly
