i was under the impression that the polo gti head was pretty efficent as it is, so no massive gains can be achieved. Was it also not designed by the guys that built the clio williams?

Just out of interest can a dent be knocked out on these alloys or are they likely to crack?

fitting the 6 speed box in the polo isnt an easy job though is it?

Compression isnt a problem, low comp pistons would sort that out or thicker head gasket!

what gear box does the polo diesel use?

Anyone looked into doing this?
Looking at using supercharger off a mini cooper S, nice and cheap for low mileage unit.

Any thoughts ideas guys?

Dont agree with that. I ve had my brakes upgraded to the G60 setup and i can say without a shadow of doubt my car stops alot quicker then it did before!

Anyone with a standard Gti in the guildford area fancy helping me prove the point pm me!

obviously the supercharger itself.
brackets and new belt.
custom pipe work for the intake.
standalone engine management.
thicker head gasket to lower compresion ratio.

any other things that would be needed? obviously manifold & exhasut would be useful and induction kit!

my exhasut needs replacing so thinking of putting a performance exhasut on it instead! any ideas from people? ideally i wana keep the tail pipe hidden like standard but i dont think you can get any like that?

Had this problem. Took my wheels off and noticed wheel bolts done up too tight put them back on and hey presto all fixed!

Changed my HT leads the other day and since then one of the ht leads keeps popping out when i get to high revs!

Can some one tell me which cyclinders are a,b,c and d as marked on the dizzy?

Just been flicking through my serivce book and looks like they have never been changed since the car was new!!

So, took them out and replaced them but accidently broke one of the HT leads! BUGGER!

Old plugs look seriously used n abused!

By the way my cars on 47,000 miles.

I want to get an S14 200sx. Always loved them and soo easy to tune. 300bhp rear wheel drive... that would be nice!

Plus the benefit of the cream leather interior!

Want to keep the polo though as my run around car.
