yeah, that gets rid of it for that moment but it will keep interupting every half hour or so still. I'm sure i found a combination of buttons pressed and held down together and it will get rid of TP altogether until you press the stupid button again.

TP button

I pressed the dreaded TP button by accident the other day and I cant get rid of the traffic reports. I figured out once how to get rid of the reports and now cant remember what I pressed. I'm sure its a combination of a few buttons. Can anyone help me...please.....!!!!

I prob sounded really thick and all excited about having a master key but he told me to keep it on me so if I am out I have a back up handy..... what an idiot to tell me to carry around the master key!

the noise comes from the front passenger side. although i said in my last post that the noise comes in 2nd and 3rd gear it happens stationary too if you rev to a certain RPM and hold it there

i knew it did it but yours shouldnt be so loose that you lose the key! thats bad!

did anyone ever get a spare key which is just the shape of the actual key and then the 2 fobs? the salesman said it is a back up if you lose the key?

I have had so many problems with my car when i bought it...including this!
My whole steering column moved up and down and steering wheel was sitting wonky and made a scratching noise when you turned full lock one way to full lock the other way and the steering column physically moved. Very scary ...

This happened to my last car....

Was on the M25 in the pouring rain just coming over the Dartford bridge to the tolls. Stopped to pay so put window down and it was making a clunking and crunching noise and wouldnt go back up when i drove away from the toll so I was getting soaked!

Anyone changed their timing belt on a Polo GTi and found the car won't start when changed??? All the timing marks line up after being changed and still the car won't start.
