Yup thats deffinatly it, Just make sure you have extra engine coolant as some will run out when you change it.

I'll get a pic up later and explain how to go about it and I'll get you the part number too.

The warm starting problem is due to a faulty "coolant temperature sensor"

Very cheap and easy to replace, Sensor is about £10 from VW and it'll take you about 5
minutes to sort!

I had a very simmilar problem, the solution is to take it on a nice long run till it's nicely warmed up and then give it a good thrash!!! :twisted:

Trust me it's the best way to clean out all the crap that builds up in the engine!!!

Coilovers fitted now theres a knocking noise!!!

Hi all, Ok I fitted my coilies yesterday (FK Highsports) which all went fine 8) Car looks great and handles great BUT theres a knocking sound when you turn the wheel which almost sounds like the springs turning it only seems to happen when I'm standing still and turning the wheel or moving very slow...

Got it for around £200, considering it's a completly custom map I was more than happy with that and once I'v got my full SS exhaust and new manifold fitted he'll tweak the map for me :twisted:
